Why has the website changed?
The Exploring Science website has been extended to include more materials for both editions of the course. There is a whole range of materials - over 1,300 resources, and offers fantastic value. In order to maintain a high level of support, we are having to introduce a charge for the website.

Where has the old website gone?
This website is an improvement on the old website and has now replaced it .This new website has more resources and worksheets than before, and also has areas for both the QCA and Original Exploring Science books.

How can I access the website?
You will need to subscribe. Click here for information on pricing.

Why don't some of the links work?
The website is developing all the time. So that you can see what we are planning to include, we have included tables with all headings, but only the underlined ones are linked to the relevant documents. New material is being added every week.

What is a PDF?
A pdf is a special type of document that is used to deliver high-quality documents (e.g. worksheets) for printing out over the Internet. We make use of these so that we can ensure that the materials supplied on this website reach you looking as intended.

How do I download a PDF?
Get Acrobat ReaderTo download a PDF document you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. This application is available at Adobe Website and is absolutely free.

Once you have Acrobat Reader installed, click on the download link to view the document on your screen and select 'Print' to print it off. Alternatively you can right-click on the link and select 'Save Target As …' or 'Save Link As …' to save the document to disk for use later.

N.B. As downloading from the web takes rather longer than opening files from a disk, you may have to wait between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes for PDF's to download, depending on the size of the document and the speed of your modem link.

How do I download other files from this website (Word, Excel etc.)?
To download other files from the web, either click on the download link directly to open the document on your screen, or right-click on the link and select 'Save Target As …' or 'Save Link As …' to save the document to disk for use later.
